Default Identifying and Salvaging Inventory Items

This is probably a nit-picky thing, and isn't really huge, but I think it would be easy to implement.

I would like to see the ability to identify all items in my inventory simply by clicking on the Identify Kit.

For the Salvage Kits I would ike to be able to just click the kit once which activates it and then click multiple salvagable items without having to go back and click the kit. I could then deactivate the kit by clicking it a second time. It is very annoying to have to switch back and forth between the bags/belt/backpack double clicking the kit to get everything salvaged.

I like the salvage mechanic the way it is at the moment tbh.

They should impliment an old guy with a gray cloak and a cane to sit by the chest and do it that way

"Greetings and Salutations!"

but seriously, that'd be nice if you could identify and salvage multiple items maybe like a shift-click method even.

I'd be willing to say that if we got the multiple salvage thing, someone is going to make a silly mistake and salvage a gold req 7 fellblade or something.

Auto ID I wouldn't get that much use out of tbh, if you need to swap though bags to get to your ID kits like I do, just hit F9 so they all come up.

Also, thanks for pointing out the F9 key to me. I didn't know it pulled up all of your inventory in a single screen.

Still, I don't see the salvaging mechanism I'm referring to causing any problems with someone mistakenly salvaging something important. The game already asks you if you're sure you want to salvage on anything that has any type of magical property. This would just allow you to not have to go back and double click your salvage kit over and over again. I usually have a whole slug of items that are strictly meant to be salvaged, Titans Armor for example. This functionality would allow me to activate my salvage kit and just click all those items, and then deactivate the kit. I don't see how that wouldn't speed things up for a lot of players.

the thing is, that it would be really awesome to have tha batch identification diablo 2 style, just double clicking the id kit then shift+click for the whole backpack id

I really don't feel like wasting my id kit on white items (that can be identified in case you didn't know, usually increases merch price, but not enough to be worth it). Nice thought, but this really isn't needed. I would much prefer the devs continue to work on stuff that affects me while I am playing, not while I am sitting in town.

While I agree that we don't want developers spending a lot of time working on something like this, I really don't think it would take long to implement something like this. Not only that, but any functionality that is stream lined for activities while you're in town makes it that much quicker to get back to playing. The time saved from simple things like this is well worth the effort.
